i watched about the first half of bill donahue's hour lecture posted in the emerald tablet video tutorial found here n something seemed particularly...egregious? 2 me here's the video for those who dont want 2 follow the link 2 the thread now i enjoyed a bit of what he had 2 say about the bible n the idea of elijah n his chariot of fire being an alien n his spacecraft, even tho donahue seems 2 think jesus knew elijah, bc elijah's time on earth predates jesus' by generations, but i keep getting caught up on something: donahue periodically refers 2 the mayans as 'jungle people' n 'primitive' n says that they could have never had the capacity 2 build such pyramids or make such predictions by themselves. he also expresses surprise that a nonwhite person such as barack obama could ever get elected president without some outside force acting on america n its citizens. is that a race thing? he seems 2 believe that only he, a white male, could put these clues together n form these hypotheses by himself, n that other people of other races need help forming their ideas n accomplishing feats maybe i'm missing the point? i'm interested in what yall have 2 say about these alleged prejudices of bill donahue
